Haitian
Voodoo
I urge
you to recognize that Voodoo is Haiti's religion, it is taken very
seriously not merely by unlettered peasants, but many intelligent
and learned members of the Haitian society believe as sincerely in
Voodoo as do German theology professors in their Christianity. In no
way do I expect you to believe in Voodoo; no more than I would
expect you to convert to Islam if I taught a course on that
religion. But, please do recognize that it is every bit as real a
religion as the major religions of the world.

According to the Book of Exodus, Moses was born in a
time when his people, the Children of Israel,
were increasing in number and the
Egyptian Pharaoh
was worried that they might help Egypt's enemies. Moses'
Hebrew mother, Jochebed, hides him when the Pharaoh
ordered all newborn Hebrew boys to be killed, and the
child is adopted as a foundling by the Egyptian royal
family. After killing an Egyptian slave-master, Moses
flees across the Red Sea to Midian where he has his
encounter with the God of Israel in the form of the
"burning bush". God sends Moses to request the release
of the Israelites. After the Ten Plagues, Moses leads
the Exodus of the Israelites out of Egypt and across the
Red Sea, after which they base themselves at Mount
Sinai, where Moses receives the Ten Commandments. After
40 years of wandering in the desert, Moses dies aged
120, within sight of the Promised Land.

Dear Ms. Labady:
I am of the acute impression that the book Liberated
points out a monumental truth that there is no freedom
in a life with fear and anxiety. in the content the crux
of the book posited the possibility of inner freedom.
There are some essential truths that wormed their way
through the book's theme:(1) wanting approval is a form
of fear,(2) that staying in one's comfort zone is an
opting-out pretext, and (3) a bravado exterior is a
slender sheath that covers a soul that is prolonging
dying.
Regards deluxe!!
Wilton Duncan
My opinion about Liberated is
that you put your life in this story and maybe some one
will get good information about life and how to deal
with what is going on in their life and how to make
their life better from you experience and what you went
through.
